Saying “Yes” To Change

Saying “Yes” To Change

A lot of people would agree that we are in a pretty transformational place in terms of cosmetic technology.

In other words, when you look back 10 or 20 years, cosmetic work was relatively primitive compared to what we have today. But then new technology started to proliferate at a rapid pace, and lots of exciting new types of treatment were emerging in clinical offices.

So if so much new stuff is available, and there's so much exciting new treatment that we’re gaining access to, how come you don't hear so much about it?

Holistic Treatment and Choices

Well, one reason you may be behind on hearing about new choices is that a lot of people are more private about what they choose to get done.

But there's also a sort of defeating effect that holds people back from taking advantage of these types of cosmetic services.

In theory, they would like to look better and feel better in these various ways, but they are held back – why?

Time and time again we hear the same kind of thing from people who are contemplating elective procedures: that there’s someone, or multiple people in their lives, who are just opposed to the idea of various types of treatment sometimes on the basis of no information at all.

It's like a knee-jerk reaction to the idea of something, an inherent determination to oppose something, regardless of what the positive effects could be.

Treatments

For example, recently on the blog, we wrote about different types of myths around Botox injections.

You can hear a lot of those myths reverbrating around popular culture, where people come up with insulting ways to talk about these treatments being done and about the results, when in reality, a lot of people are really enjoying these treatments and the results that they provide.

It may not be for everybody, but it definitely is for a lot of people, and when you get past the kinds of crude knee-jerk reactions that you hear and see, often from people who have never seen one of these procedures done or contemplated them themselves, you see that there really is a lot of potential there!

When you come in for consultation, what you're getting is professional guidance and advice. You’re getting an even and objective description of treatments and services, regardless of how new they are or how they are perceived in wider society.

Everybody has their own opinion on these types of services, but if you're interested, you can get the right information to make decisions that work for you.
